MY STORY
I am a British illustrator and designer specialising in artworks and bespoke stationery, whether it's for celebrations including weddings and births, custom commissions for individuals or brands, and home stationery.
Working primarily with watercolour, I design to evoke happiness and a sense of calm. The process of choosing a colour palette, putting brush to paper and creating a final work brings me so much joy. I often incorporate hand-lettering and calligraphy using a mix of brushes, nibs and pens.
From a young age, I have always found happiness in the small, creative things, like flower arranging and making cards for those closest to me. I've always had a soft spot for stationery, whether it be perfectly wrapped presents with aesthetically pleasing paper to Japanese stationery and beautiful cards.
After studying History of Art at University, I went into the world of Interior Design, working at a Notting Hill-based studio, and later moved to Shanghai to work in commercial design. Studio Alissia started in 2019, fulfilling a childhood dream of running my own illustration company. Simply nothing makes me happier than seeing a design come to life and creating something beautiful with a happy sentiment. I currently live between Dubai and London, two diverse and inspiring cities.
I aim to work closely with you to bring your vision to life, whilst adding personal touches such as a special location, your favourite flower or sentimental wording. I hope to bring you joy and create something you can treasure forever.
